Alanis Morissette

Alanis Nadine Morissette was born in Ottawa, Canada, on the 1st June, 1974. Alanis' Greek name is an feminine form of her father's name, Alan. The name of her mother is Georgia and she has two brothers: Chad as well as Wade (Alanis' Twin). She was able to play the piano at age 6, and guitar when she was 21. Alanis made a hit single in 1986 entitled Fate stay with me (b-side : Find The Right Man). The singer recorded two albums while a dance-pop singer within Canada: Alanis (1991) and Now Is The Time (1992).
