VanCamp's character Emily Thorne in the ABC series Revenge running from the year 2011 until 2015, gave her more fame. VanCamp was a part of the Fox show The Resident from 2018 until 2021. VanCamp also played Sharon Carter / Agent 13 or Power Broker on The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), appearing in the films Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) and Captain America: Civil War (2016) in addition to as in the twenty-21 Disney+ series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and What If ...? VanCamp was inspired to pursue acting when she visited her sister Katie at The Ladies Room set. The actress began attending acting classes during the week on a Saturday, contacted an agent and, after working on a few commercials, she was offered a role in the second part of a special episode in three parts of the Canadian children's horror television show Are You Afraid of the Dark?
