Jill Hennessy
Her family is from Edmonton, a city who has Irish, Italian and Swedish origins, in addition to French Ukrainian, French, and Swedish. Jacqueline's twin is an actress and actress as well. Jill began to master a variety of languages including Italian, French, Spanish, as she was growing to. After she turned twelve years older, Jill began her journey into performing. She began her acting career in Toronto through David Cronenberg's Dead Ringers playing an escort along with their twin sisters. After studying improv with Deb Kimmet from Second City, she began her acting career in Toronto. When she moved in New York, Claire signed the two-year contract in Law & Order to be the Assistant District Attorney Claire Kincaid. The actress also appeared in films including RoboCop 3 (1998), Ron Howard's The Paper (2000) and I Shot Andy Warhol 1996) during her three-year run. For the next few years she became a part of several forgettable films, but in 1999 she was cast as a lead in the micro-series uremberg in a role with Alec Baldwin. In major productions, such as Autumn in New York and Exit Wounds followed. She was the main character of The NBC Crime thriller Crossing Jordan in 2001. In 2007, she was honored with the Gracie Allen Award for "Outstanding female character in a drama" for her performance on the show. Her husband was another actor Paolo Mastropietro in 2000. The couple have two children. She was honored in 2007 with an honorary place on Canada's Walk of Fame.
