Lizzo

LizzoLizzo joined a prog-rock band where she sang as well as played the flute. Her family had moved to Denver and Lizzo was alone to begin her professional career in Houston. Lizzo lived in her car and sometimes slept on the floor of her studio. Lizzo also used her gym to shower in the fitness center. Lizzo's father died when she was only twenty-one years old. This was a heartbreaking loss for the two of them, since they had been extremely close. Lizzo left the band in the year 2010 following her father's death. Following a brief stay in Denver in 2010, Lizzo moved to Minneapolis at the request of her friend in 2011. Lizzo soon found herself in the music scene of Minneapolis. She was in the girl bands Chalice and GRRRL PRETY. Her debut album, Lizzobangers, was released in 2013 on an independent label.
