Christina Haack, born on 7 July 1983, in Anaheim California. Following her graduation, her first job was with the real estate industry. Tarek El-Moussa, her upcoming husband, was also in the industry. They ran a profitable business up until 2008 when real estate agents, house flippers, and many others broke. In the aftermath of the market crash, Tarek and Christina El Moussa were close to losing everything. The cost of their apartment was just $700 per week compared to the $6,000 they had been paying per month for their house. Slowly, their business and overall economic performance improved. HGTV as well as Rise to Fame In 2011 Tarek asked a friend to aid him in making an HGTV audition tape that showed the two of them Christina turning a house beginning to end. Pie Town Productions executive received the tape. They fell in love with Tarek and Christina. In 2012, the couple signed a contract with HGTV. Flip of Flop premiered April 2013, For seven seasons, the show was broadcast between 2013-2017. On the show, Christina and Tarek would acquire properties, which are typically middle-income houses situated in Orange County, and would later spend a few months making improvements so that they could sell the home for profit. Tarek concentrates on removal and remodeling, and Christina oversees the design. She also ensures that all projects are completed in time.
