Awkwafina
Awkwafina is an American actor and musician. Her first release was humorous, cleverly written rap songs that addressed issues like racial identification as well as sexual orientation. She then expanded her fans to Hollywood. Nora Lum began her musical career as a musician on the trumpet. Born in Forest Hills Queens, she was a child of Chinese immigrants and Koreans. Then, she started hip-hop and classical training. At college, she was studying writing and women's studies. She even spent a short time studying Mandarin during her time in Beijing. It wasn't until she began focusing on music until she completed her degree. The My Vag song, My Vag which was her response to the Mickey Avalon song My Dick, became a huge hit across the Internet and was later featured on her first LP Yellow Ranger. This album also featured viral hits such as the body-positive Queef and the winking tour of her hometown the city of New York Bitche$. The latter track connected directly with another Awkwafina project NYC Travel Guide, which was published in 2015. Apart from having a book published, her other career was as a performer. As well as early shows, such Girl Code and Tawk - she appeared in the movies Neighbors 2 Storks & Bad Rap. In 2018, she scored major roles in a variety of high-profile films such as Dude Ocean's Eight and Crazy Rich Asians. In June, she released the EP in Fina We Trust.
