LeBron Raymone James Sr. Born 30 December 1984 - is a professional American basketball player. King James, he's widely regarded to be the greatest basketball player ever and is often compared Michael Jordan during debates about the greatest basketballer ever. James has been the recipient of four NBA Championships as well as four NBA MVP Awards, the four NBA Finals MVP Awards and three All-Star MVP Awards. He also has two Olympic Gold medals. James has the highest points during the playoffs, and has the second highest number of career points and is seventh in assists in his career. In addition to being an NBA All-Star, James was chosen as a member of the NBA All-NBA Team on 18 occasions. James has played in the ten NBA Finals the third most ever, including eight times in a row between the years of 2011 and 2018. James has been selected for his place on the NBA 75th Anniversary Team and became the NBA's first player to have accumulated 10,000 or more points as well as rebounds and assists throughout his career. He will be the first to do so in 2022. James was a student at St. Vincent St. Mary High School, located in Akron Ohio. The national media hailed James as an NBA player of the year. In 2003 it was the year that his team, the Cleveland Cavaliers took him first in the NBA draft, as a pre-pro. He was named the 2004 NBA Rookie of Year He quickly established himself as one of the league's premier players by winning the NBA MVP title in both 2009 and 2010. James joined Miami Heat in 2010 when the team became a free agent after failing to achieve a Championship with Cleveland. The announcement was made on The Decision.
